'Purple Iris 4' Watercolour Painting

Purple Iris 4 is a part of the Royal Irises collection.

When I started exploring florals in 2022, I chanced upon these flowers and wondered how a particular colour can represent royalty so gracefully. Their pretty blooms are captivating and I couldn’t stop myself from painting them over and over again! The freedom I get to let myself loose and play with a colour representing abundance, drama and faith is invigorating and I find myself gravitating towards it more and more.

This is an unframed vertical original watercolour piece, painted on an archival CP 100% cotton paper, of size 8.5 x 12 inches.
